UAP-AC-SHD is the first UniFi 802.11ac Wave 2 access point with expanded security. The model is equipped with ultramodern features. airView analyses available RF channels without impacting performance or interfering with user activities. The airTime tools analyses Wi-Fi packets enabling real-time overview, which allows UniFi AC SHD AP to automatically select the most appropriate channel to optimize performance in the entire installation.
Total security
The solution works as a WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Prevention System) and WIDS (Wireless Intrusion Detection System). It constantly monitors all available Wi-Fi channels and protects against threats. It combines MU MIMO 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, thanks to which it is able to communicate with multiple clients at the same time, significantly increasing the users’ bandwidth and general service level. UAP-AC-SHD owes its ease of operation to a comfortable and scalable UniFi system that allows control over multiple locations across the word from a single interface level accessible via the internet or a local area network.
